Recruitment event for B&NES residents

Find your new opportunity at B&NES recruitment event
Residents in Bath and North East Somerset wanting to make progress with their careers, improve their skills and access training or business support are invited to a New Opportunities event in Bath on February 17. Practical support will be available to help people reach their employment goals at the free event run by Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Employment & Skills Pod at the Podium from 10.30am to 1.00pm. A range of local organisations including Bath College, We Work for Everyone, Julian House Employment, Women’s Work Lab and Youth Connect will be attending. Councillor Dine Romero, cabinet member for Children and Young People, Communities and Culture, will be opening the event. Places can be booked in advance on Eventbrite or by dropping in on the day. Councillor Romero said: “The New Opportunities event will broaden the support for jobseekers and small business owners in B&NES. The effect of the pandemic has meant some people are struggling to find work or grow their business, so this is a valuable chance to link with leading local employment support and training providers for advice. Who knows where the event might lead you?” The full list of participants is:
